Stars Unable To Keep Up with Leafs in Loss

The Stars lose their first game of the season falling to the Toronto Maple Leafs 7-4 on Tuesday night.

Jim Montgomery lost his first game as an NHL coach Tuesday night with the Dallas Stars losing 7-4 to the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Dallas got into penalty trouble and had a tough time with the Toronto power play as the Leafs scored two power play goals in three tries.

The Stars continued to their top-heavy scoring attack as Tyler Seguin, Jamie Benn, Alexander Radulov, and John Klingberg all scored for Dallas. Seguin led the way for the Stars with his second straight four-point game.

Rookie Miro Heiskanen scored his first NHL point assisting on Radulov’s goal.

The Stars are off until Saturday when they host the 3-0 Anaheim Ducks.
