The Dallas Stars lost 4-1 on Monday night to the Ottawa Senators. Defenseman John Klingberg scored the lone goal for the Stars, who fall to 3-2 on the season.
Dallas had a 1-0 lead late in the second period when Ottawa scored their first goal. The Senators scored three times in the third. Dallas had plenty of chances outshooting Ottawa 38-24 but couldn’t beat Sens goaltender Craig Anderson.
The Stars play again tonight against the New Jersey Devils. Goaltender Anton Khudobin is expected to get the start; Roope Hintz and Roman Polak are also expected to return to the lineup.
