Hope you were able to take advantage of yesterday’s recommendations as Filip Forsberg (three goals), Artemi Panarin (two goals, one assist), and Henri Jokiharju (one assist) all provided tremendous value. Let’s take a look at some of the players I like for Sunday.
- From the Dallas Stars perspective, I like Tyler Seguin (FanDuel $7,700, DraftKings $7,900) and John Klingberg (FD $6,600, DK $6,500) in a match-up against the Detroit Red Wings. Seguin hasn’t scored a goal in six games but has at least five shots on goal in five of those six games. Only a matter of time. Klingberg has been one of the highest scoring defenseman in the NHL this season and is typically a safe bet in daily fantasy. Detroit is going with Jonathan Bernier in net; Bernier currently sports a brutal 4.33 goals against average and an .833 save percentage.
- Other high end players I like for Sunday: Chicago Blackhawks winger Patrick Kane (FD $8,600, DK $7,600), Dallas goaltender Ben Bishop (FD $8,700, DK $8,300), Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury (FD $8,100, DK $8,400) and Vegas winger Jonathan Marchessault (FD $7,200, DK $7,100).
- Mid-priced players I like for Sunday: Ottawa Senators center Matt Duchene (FD $5,800, DK $5,300), Carolina Hurricanes winger Teuvo Teravainen (FD $5,800, DK $6,500) Vegas winger Reilly Smith (FD $5,500, DK $5,500), Carolina winger Michael Ferland (FD $5,100, DK $6,100), Carolina defenseman Jaccob Slavin (FD $4,300, DK $4,400), and Ottawa defenseman Maxime Lajoie (FD $4,100, DK $5,000).
- Value plays I like for Sunday: Ottawa center Chris Tierney (FD $4,600, DK $4,900), Vegas winger Alex Tuch (FD $4,400, DK $5,300), Carolina winger Andrei Svechnikov (FD $3,700, DK $3,900), Dallas defenseman Miro Heiskanen (FD $3,700, DK $4,000), and Ottawa defenseman Cody Ceci (FD $3,500, $3,700).
