Stars Beat The Cup Champs, Win Third Straight on the Road

The Stars win streak continues as they take down the reigning champs on Saturday night.

After starting the season with three straight losses away from the American Airlines Center, the Dallas Stars have bounced back in a big way winning three straight.

After winning two games in Eastern Canada against Montreal and Toronto, the Stars beat the defending Stanley Cup champion Washington Capitals 4-3 in overtime on Saturday night.

After three grade A scoring chances in overtime for Tyler Seguin – including a penalty shot – Jason Dickinson buried a wrister to give the Stars two points. Dallas also got goals from Tyler Pitlick, Jason Spezza, and Jamie Benn.

The Stars are now 3-1 on this road trip and are a perfect 2-0 in November. Dallas gets a shot at two more points Monday night against the Boston Bruins.
