With a rash of injuries and a lack of scoring over the last few games, the Dallas Stars have called up winger Denis Gurianov from the Texas Stars of the AHL. Gurianov is leading Texas in scoring and made a strong impression on the Stars coaching staff during training camp and the pre-season. Gurianov will get a chance to play in the top-6 immediately; he is expected to start with Jamie Benn and Jason Spezza tonight against the San Jose Sharks.
