One change in the Preds lineup for Game 2: Brian Boyle, who tried to decapitate Jason Dickinson in Game 1, is out with a karmic illness. Rocco Grimaldi takes his place.

Preds already off to a better start in Game 2. Vince Gill > Big and Rich.
— Brian Roe (@brianproe) April 13, 2019
All Nashville early. No shots on goal for the Stars in the first four minutes of the game. And Preds get the first power play of the game.
— Brian Roe (@brianproe) April 13, 2019
Stars kill off Nashville's power play and quickly draw a penalty (Austin Watson / roughing) earning their first power play of the day.
— Brian Roe (@brianproe) April 13, 2019
Stars top power play unit looks awful again as the Preds kill the penalty off with ease. Dallas needs to take advantage undisciplined penalties the Preds will take when they go after Klingberg and Heiskanen with late hits.
— Brian Roe (@brianproe) April 13, 2019
Nashville has been noticably interfering with Stars wingers with pick plays to try and create space but they finally get caught as Ekholm is headed to the box. Stars back on the power play.
— Brian Roe (@brianproe) April 13, 2019
Make that a four minute power play as Ekholm gets an unsportsmanlike tacked on. Dallas needs to take advantage.
— Brian Roe (@brianproe) April 13, 2019
Preds kill off the four-minute power play. Stars top unit ineffective again. I think they need to try splitting up Zuccarello and Seguin. Roman Polak takes a penalty of his own shortly after so Nashville now has the man advantage as the special teams battle continues.
— Brian Roe (@brianproe) April 13, 2019
Wild and crazy opening period in Nashville but no score after one. We did get five power plays, 24 shots on goal, and 13 hits. Bishop continues to be the story stopping all 15 shots he saw in the first period.
— Brian Roe (@brianproe) April 13, 2019
Stars strike first early in the second. Radulov pressure causes a turnover, Seguin with the interception and perfect pass, Benn with the finish. 1-0 Dallas.
— Brian Roe (@brianproe) April 13, 2019
Scary injury situation as Janmark is down and not moving. Looks like a left leg injury at first glance.
— Brian Roe (@brianproe) April 13, 2019
Moments after Janmark leaves the game with a left leg injury Rocco Grimaldi scores to tie the game. 1-1.
— Brian Roe (@brianproe) April 13, 2019
Ekholm seemingly forgets the rules of hockey here in Game 2. Obvious crosscheck to the numbers on Faksa. Stars back on the power play.
— Brian Roe (@brianproe) April 13, 2019
Stars with a good opportunity but Seguin gets whistled for a penalty in the offensive zone. Preds back to the power play.
— Brian Roe (@brianproe) April 13, 2019
Stars kill penalty
Preds take penalty
Stars back on the power playBusy day for the special teams units

Bishop bails out Lovejoy/Fedun again. The Dallas third pairing was on the ice for the Preds only goal and has struggled mightily tonight at even strength. Don't be surprised if Oleksiak comes in for Fedun on Monday.
— Brian Roe (@brianproe) April 13, 2019
For the second straight game the Stars and Predators are tied 1-1 after the second period.
— Brian Roe (@brianproe) April 13, 2019
Much like Dickinson in Game 1, Janmark makes an improbable return in Game 2. Pretty surprising; he couldn't even put weight on the left foot when he was helped off the ice.
— Brian Roe (@brianproe) April 14, 2019
Dickinson with a good move on Subban and near-perfect shot that goes right past Rinne and off the post.
— Brian Roe (@brianproe) April 14, 2019
I stand corrected. Smith gets the only penalty. Stars back on the power play.
— Brian Roe (@brianproe) April 14, 2019
Stars now 0-for-6 on the power play tonight. Might come back and haunt them if they are unable win this game.

60 minutes not enough for Game 2 as we head to overtime in Nashville.

The dogs are clearly not impressed by the wizardry of Ben Bishop and Pekka Rinne today. pic.twitter.com/8XqsANUeni

Craig Smith scores as Nashville wins 2-1 in OT. Game 3 is Monday night at the American Airlines Center.
